Apartment building, arlington
This project was for a multi-unit apartment building in Arlington. In the winter, their gas burner would go out, resulting in all the units having no heat. This is common for a system that’s 30 years old.
We engineered a new system that consists of two boilers, giving them efficiency and redundancy, which is important for those cold Massachusetts winters. The new system modulates using outdoor temperatures to save energy.
